Prayers for Joys and Concerns/Announcements: 4/4/21
KEPT IN OUR PRAYERS (cards and calls appreciated) Ella Rivers, Donna Church, Musz Bailey, Jim Babcock, Shelley Sherper, Bobbie Berg, Susan Olsen, Jackie Schuelein, Carol Lloyd, Dave Leland, Joanne Burdick, Ruby Cawthra, Jane Houlton, baby James Bowman, Marion Marcott, Cheryl Wold, Judy Halgren, Amy Britt, Bailey Rosdahl, Jimmy Stevens, Dee & Jim Stevens (Jimmy’s parents), Dave Foley, John Olson, Nicole [Kilber] Teske, Linda Fenton, Dave Halgren, Diane Narr, Joan Axen and Nancy Andersen.
Robin asked for prayers for Nancy Andersen, as well as Marv. Nancy has been struggling with health issues. She has been to multiple medical facilities. The last diagnosis from Mayo Clinic was that she has asthma. She is not feeling well at all.
Outreach and Justice gave praise for all those who have faithfully participated in Union Church ministry teams during this terrible COVID year. They also gave praise and thanksgiving for the special music by Karen Sherper Rohs and Carson Schneider, available throughout the Lenten season.
Jen Narr-Rodrigues asked for prayers for Cesar’s former wife, Luiza, with whom they share a son, Gian. A few days ago, Luiza was admitted to the hospital in Brazil due to COVID. As of this morning Luiza’s lung capacity is less than 50%. The doctors are monitoring her to determine whether to place her in ICU and put her on a ventilator. Gian also tested positive for COVID but has not shown any symptoms.
Joan Stevens thanked everyone for the cards and prayers for Keith. He is doing much better.
Robin gave thanks and praise for this beautiful and glorious day in which we are celebrating beginnings of new life.
Announcements:
Robin announced that the beautiful flowers in the sanctuary have been donated by various members. They will be available for pick up after church. Those designated to others will be delivered.
Robin thanked everyone who has continued to give to our church’s ministry during COVID, even though we are unable to meet in person. She encouraged us to continue to support our church.
