First Sunday of Easter - April 11th, 2021 Worship at 10a
‘A Simple Service of Testimony and Song in Celebration of Resurrection’ has been created and led by members of the UCC Council of Conference Ministers (CCM) and staff members of the National Setting of the United Church of Christ.
We hope you enjoy sharing worship and reaffirming our connections to our wider UCC church.
There will not be a specific time during our worship service for our sharing of Prayers of Joy, Concern and Announcement. If you have prayers to share, please send them to both Rev. Robin and Mary Wilson. We will share all your prayers on our weekly prayer post, eNews, and our prayer list.
Blessings to all of you in this Easter season.

O&J Special Request
Union Friends, Sanctuary and Resistance to Injustice is going to re-purpose some of the yard signs we use at our Wednesday actions at the Sherburne Government Center. This project will have several different volunteer opportunities.
First, we are looking for donations of old solid colored sheets of any size. If you have patternless sheets you are no longer using, please drop them off in the drop box at the entrance of Union.
Second, once we have the sheets, we will ask for volunteers to stitch them like pillow cases to slip over our existing yard signs
Third, we will need help to paint new slogans or stencil images on the signs.
Watch this space! Once we have enough sheets, we will put out a call for volunteers to sew the slip covers.
Thank you for volunteering!
It's Minnesota FoodShare Month!

BABY LAMBS AT PASTOR ROBIN’S FARM
It is Eastertide and for Pastor Robin, it is the time of sleepless, on watch nights and days, for baby lambs to be born. This year, I have five ewes birthing from Easter Monday through the week after. Already three – Tahini, Merry and Tomato have babies. Last night, watching over Tomato through the evening’s thunder, lightning and rain was certainly an adventure as she finally birthed twins at 1:00 am. Tomato is older and last year had triplets so I was particularly concerned for her. Happily she had twins this year. Karma and Tequila will most likely be birthing on Wednesday or Thursday. Soon will be the joy of fluffy little lambs, jumping in the sunshine. I’m including baby pictures to enjoy.

"Later we name it what it is – new life – not only for Jesus – but for us - our new life – your new life – new life for the whole world. Because the resurrection of Jesus happened – just like he promised it would happen. We don’t know why or how or what really happened on that first Easter morning – we only know the tomb was empty – Jesus was gone - and right along with those women - we were filled with fear. Until later – much later – when - we weren’t – and we told – and the ones we told, told someone else – and someone else – these words of new life and of God doing a new thing – spread like wildfire …. "
