From our UCC Wellness Ministries:
Mental Health Month
Mental Health Sunday: The United Church of Christ Mental Health Network invites you to highlight mental health on the third Sunday in May or any Sunday that suits your schedule. Sample liturgies, sermons, bulletin inserts, and a worship resource, Radical Belonging: A Mental Health Sunday Resource for All are available. UCC Mental Health Network Congregational Toolkits are also available.
*Kathy Hess-Stevens asked for prayers—her husband’s friend, Jean Bass Aune, has pancreatic cancer and nonalcoholic liver cancer. Please pray for Kathy’s family as well as for Jean for renewed strength and renewed appetite.
*Pastor Robin asked for prayers for the Elk River High School. The students continue to struggle with conflict around issues of racism. If you have any input into that or ways to help that conversation, I ask that you do so. Please seek ways to address these issues in your homes, families, community with these students.
