God all-knowing, all-seeing, Almighty,
While we seek to know more, we cannot know all. While our eyes are open, sometimes we cannot see what is right in front of us. Sometimes we do not wish to.
While we work to be strong, we forget that only in you can we find true strength. The kind that both defends and protects with unfailing love.
God, help us to know you more, help us to see more, give us the desire to see.

We pray for comfort, for understanding, for strength to those in pain, for those who suffer all around the world. Our graduates, their families, their communities, their countries all around the world that are struggling but also bringing hope. May their light continue to shine.
We pray for the Olympics, for the vaccine rollout, for those that continue to live under the state of emergency, and for the day that our Participants will be able to arrive safely.
You are always with us, and your grace is sufficient. Help us to know it better, and to see it more clearly.

Marylyn Bowman expressed prayers of joy and thanksgiving for their grandson, James, who is celebrating his 3^rd birthday.  She calls him their miracle baby due to issues when he was born. He is doing well now.

Pastor Robin extended congratulations and joy for Paula Benfer who made the front page of the Elk River Star News, outlining her artistic talents and the outreach she does to the community using her gifts of art.  Way to go, Paula!!

"Poverty alone does not explain homelessness. Black, Indigenous and LGBTQ people are overrepresented among the homeless population. In our own area, people from minority backgrounds may be as much as four times more likely than White people to experience homelessness. This disproportionality is, in large part, a product of historical practices in the housing market—redlining, exclusionary zoning, predatory lending and other building blocks of structural racism."

Janelle Johnson asked for prayers.  There were two deaths in her family.  Her cousin, Cheryl Dahlberg passed away unexpectedly.  Also, Sally Norgren, age 90, her cousin’s wife, passed away. 

Carol Metzger-Lloyd asked for prayers for her daughter’s father-in-law, Wayne Sweet, wo will be having surgery tomorrow for colon cancer. 

Laurie Lazaretti asked for prayers for her nephew, Ryan, who has acquired COVID.  He also has kidney stones and only one kidney so treatment is difficult for him.

Val Hansen asked for prayers as she has been having severe headaches for awhile as well as neuropathy in her extremities.  She is seeking treatment.
